Volleyball Recap: Yuma Comes Up Short

Yuma and Vail Christian squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Yuma had to settle for second. They came up short against the Saints, falling 3-0. The Outlaws have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Lindsey Hermosillo paced Yuma's offense, picking up seven kills. Hermosillo got some help from Aubrey Black and her 12 assists.

Yuma's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Vail Christian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season.

Yuma does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Vail Christian, they have already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Wiggins on the 14th.
