Volleyball Recap: Mentor Christian Takes a Loss

Mentor Christian managed to slip by First Baptist Christian the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. Mentor Christian came up short against First Baptist Christian on Saturday, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Mentor Christian has suffered against First Baptist Christian since October 13, 2022.

The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: First Baptist Christian scored at least 18 points in every set. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-21, 25-20.

This is the second loss in a row for Mentor Christian and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for First Baptist Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Mentor Christian nor First Baptist Christian have any future games scheduled.
