Heritage Christian Academy posted their closest win since August 22nd on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Coastal HomeSchool Hurricanes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in August.

Heritage Christian Academy wouldn't go down easily and took Coastal HomeSchool into a fifth set where they got it done with a ten-point win. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-18, 20-25, 13-25, 15-5.

Coastal HomeSchool's loss came despite strong showings from Madison Anderson and Bethany Rennert. Anderson had 14 digs, while Rennert had five digs and three aces.

Heritage Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Coming up, Heritage Christian Academy will take on Alleluia Community at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Coastal HomeSchool, they will challenge Tournament Opponent at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
