If Eastmont was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Sunnyside on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Wildcats came up short against the Eisenhower Cadets on Tuesday, falling 14-6. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Izik Ontiveros was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Valente Barrios, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Eastmont's loss dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Eisenhower, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-10.

While Eastmont had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
