Soccer Recap: Paris Takes a Loss

Paris fell victim to Athens and their airtight defense on Saturday. They fell just short of the Hornets by a score of 1-0.

Paris' defeat dropped their record down to 2-2-4. As for Athens, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-2-1 record this season.

Paris will take on Carthage in a tournament on Thursday. Carthage's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Athens, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Sulphur Springs on the 10th.
