Volleyball Recap: Norwich Free Academy Victorious

The Norwich Free Academy Wildcats were able to grind out a solid win over the Civic Leadership Eagles on Wednesday, taking the game 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.

Norwich Free Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-10, 23-25, 27-25, 25-18.

Keegan Johnston paced Norwich Free Academy's offense, picking up 17 kills. Johnston got some help from Alec Ferland and his 18 assists. Mackenzie Peterson controlled things from the service line, finishing with six aces.

The victory got Norwich Free Academy back to even at 2-2.

Norwich Free Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Rockville on the 17th. As for Civic Leadership, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Norwich RVT at 5:00 p.m. on the 28th.
