Baseball Game Preview: Caddo Mills Foxes vs. Ford Panthers

For the second straight game, Caddo Mills will face off against Ford. The Foxes will square off against the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Caddo Mills has five straight wins, Ford has five straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Tuesday, Caddo Mills made easy work of Ford and carried off an 11-1 victory. The Foxes might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by six runs or more this season.

Talon McIntosh made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over six innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Those ten strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-4 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Alex Thompson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. That stolen base marked the first that he has snagged this season. Another player making a difference was Evan English, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one run.

Caddo Mills' record is now 13-2-1. As for Ford, their loss dropped their record down to 12-10-2.
