Softball Recap: Jacksonville Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Jacksonville Christian Academy lost against Ragland back in May of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Jacksonville Christian Academy Thunder took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ragland Purple Devils. The game marked the Thunder's lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Jacksonville Christian Academy saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Symone Estell, who went 1-for-3 with one triple and one run. That hit marked the first that Estell got this season.

Jacksonville Christian Academy dropped their record down to 1-4 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Ragland, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jacksonville Christian Academy will head out to take on Spring Garden at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ragland, they will challenge Victory Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
