Hampton has gone a perfect 5-0 against Ambridge recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Talbots will look to defend their home field against the Bridgers at 4:05 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Hampton couldn't beat Blackhawk on Wednesday even though they stacked five runs on them in the fifth inning. The Talbots might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-6 to the Cougars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Talbots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Marissa Snyder put in work no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned (and five unearned) runs off eight hits. Snyder was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two triples, three RBI, and one run.

In other batting news, Eden Lawrence made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Meanwhile, Ambridge came up short against Western Beaver on Wednesday, falling 21-8.

Caylin Fedora was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and one double. Another player making a difference was Taylor Thompson, who went 1-for-3 with one home run.

Ambridge's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Hampton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Hampton's way against Ambridge when the teams last played back in April of 2025, as Hampton made off with a 15-0 victory. Will the Talbots repeat their success, or do the Bridgers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
