Football Game Preview: West Brook Bruins vs. Port Arthur Memorial Titans

The West Brook Bruins will head out on the road to square off against the Port Arthur Memorial Titans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

West Brook took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They blew past Sterling 37-7. With the Bruins ahead 21-0 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Meanwhile, Port Arthur Memorial strolled into their game on Friday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Barbers Hill 34-6. The 34-point effort marked the Titans' lowest-scoring matchup of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

West Brook's victory bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Port Arthur Memorial, their win bumped their record up to 7-0.

West Brook took a serious blow against Port Arthur Memorial when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 42-14. Can the Bruins avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
