Basketball Recap: Mccallum Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for McCallum, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They took down the Anderson Trojans 54-38 on Tuesday. Given the Knights' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 272nd, while the Trojans are ranked 745th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

McCallum's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-7. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.0 points per game. As for Anderson, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.

McCallum will venture away from home to take on Cedar Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cedar Creek will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something McCallum surely won't give up without a fight. As for Anderson, they will host Austin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
