Volleyball Recap: Christian Heritage Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Christian Heritage kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Calhoun Yellow Jackets. The loss continues a trend for the Lions in their meetings with the Yellow Jackets: they've now lost nine in a row.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-16.

Calhoun's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Addie Hite led the charge by getting eight assists and four aces. Those four aces gave Hite a new career-high.

The victory keeps Calhoun at an undefeated 4-0.

Christian Heritage didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Coahulla Creek on the 12th. As for Calhoun, they have also already played their next game, a 2-1 victory against East Coweta on the 14th.
