Soccer Recap: Hoke County Victorious

Hoke County kept a clean sheet against Southwest Guilford on Saturday. They skirted past the Cowboys 1-0. Josiah Jacobs had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Hoke County.

The victory made it two in a row for Hoke County and bumps their season record up to 2-0-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for Southwest Guilford, they now have a losing record of 1-2-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoke County will venture away from home to face off against South View at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Southwest Guilford, they will head out to square off against High Point Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
