Baseball Recap: Isaiah Oksiuta Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Brookfield Academy

Lake Country Lutheran's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They never let the Brookfield Academy Blue Knights get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The Lightning haven't had any issues with the Blue Knights recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Lake Country Lutheran got a massive performance out of Isaiah Oksiuta, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those two hits gave Oksiuta a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Poellot, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

Lake Country Lutheran always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .543. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Brookfield Academy only posted an OBP of .211.
