Lansdale Catholic took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Archbishop Ryan, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crusaders skirted past the Raiders and Ragdolls 7-5. The Crusaders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Lansdale Catholic's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6-1. As for Archbishop Ryan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

Coming up, Lansdale Catholic will challenge Perkiomen School at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Crusaders will need to watch out since the Panthers have now posted at least ten runs in their last four matches. Archbishop Ryan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
