Softball Recap: Tremont Turks vs. Delavan Panthers
While Tremont's win against Delavan wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Turks won by a run and slipped past the Panthers 2-1. The victory continues a trend for the Turks in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won five in a row.

Maddie Feagin made a splash while hitting and pitching. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high.
Feagin wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Genesis Stuber, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.
