Softball Recap: Pope John Paul II's Loss Ends Six-Game Winning Streak at Home

It was a proper cat-fight when Pope John Paul II challenged French Settlement on Tuesday. The Jaguars lost 12-2 to the Lions. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Jaguars of the 12-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Pope John Paul II's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-6. As for French Settlement, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Pope John Paul II will challenge Central at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for French Settlement, they will host St. Scholastica at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
