Alex Garza didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his third in a row with less than two walks. For the season, he has an ERA of 2.03 over 20.7 innings pitched.

Garza's strong effort led Warren over Marshall and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since March of 2019, but likely not for long.
