Volleyball Recap: Second Baptist University-Model Takes a Loss

The Eagle lost against the Eagles back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Second Baptist University-Model Eagle came up short against the Second Baptist University-Model Eagles, falling 3-0. The Eagle have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The defeat didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: the Eagles scored at least 17 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-20, 25-18.

Despite the loss, the Eagle saw an underclassman step up: freshman Haley Koblenz had 11 digs and one assist.

The Eagle's defeat dropped their record down to 25-10-1. As for the Eagles, they pushed their record up to 4-7-1 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, the Eagle will face off against the Knights at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
