Basketball Recap: IC Imagine Makes It 13 in a Row at Home

IC Imagine had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They walked away with a 52-42 win over the Asheville T Trailblazers. This was a revenge game for the Kingfishers: when they faced off against the Trailblazers last Friday, they had to take a 52-33 loss.

IC Imagine's victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.9 points over those games. As for Asheville T, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight games, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season.

Coming up, IC Imagine will take on The Franklin School of Innovation in a tournament on Thursday. As for Asheville T, they are taking a road trip to face off against Upstate HomeSchool at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Asheville T is facing Upstate HomeSchool at the right time seeing as Upstate HomeSchool is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
