Volleyball Recap: Winnebago Lutheran Academy Triumphs

Winnebago Lutheran Academy lost to Roncalli on September 6th, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Tuesday. The Vikings came out on top against the Jets by a score of 3-1.

Winnebago Lutheran Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-22, 25-22, 25-22.

Jenna Petrowitz paced Winnebago Lutheran Academy's offense, picking up nine kills. Petrowitz got some help from Sam Unger and her 20 assists. Finally, Unger was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high four blocks.
