In what's become a running theme this season, Cody gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Green River Wolves an 18-0 shutout. While fans of Cody might be used to big wins, the 18-run margin marked the team's biggest one yet.
Not much got past Riley Simone, who gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Green River off the board. Simone has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in six consecutive pitching appearances.
