Basketball Game Preview: Saint Thomas More Academy Griffins vs. Benton HomeSchool Bucks

The Saint Thomas More Academy Griffins are headed away from home for the first time to take on the Benton HomeSchool Bucks at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Saint Thomas More Academy will be strutting in after a win while Benton HomeSchool will be coming in after a loss.

Saint Thomas More Academy is headed out to face Benton HomeSchool after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. The Griffins blew past Granger Christian 68-21 on Monday. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Griffins just coasted through the last quarter.

Noah Kloska was a one-man wrecking crew as he shot 56% from the field on his way to 24 points in addition to six boards and five steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Kloska, who went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Meanwhile, Benton HomeSchool suffered their closest defeat since February 20th last Monday. They fell just short of Kalamazoo HomeSchool by a score of 47-45.

Saint Thomas More Academy couldn't quite get it done against Benton HomeSchool in their previous matchup back in January as they fell 70-61. Can the Griffins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
