Hialeah-Miami Lakes sees their postseason come to a close

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for the Hialeah-Miami Lakes Trojans, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were outmatched by the Wildcats on the road and fell 51-23. Hialeah-Miami Lakes has struggled against Westland Hialeah recently, as their game on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Westland Hialeah found their leader in underclassman Jahi Lopez, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds and five steals. Lopez is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Tywon Jenkins was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six steals and five rebounds.

Westland Hialeah used a slightly different lineup for their bout with Hialeah-Miami Lakes. And. The pair took full advantage of the opportunity: Jenkins scored 11 points along with six steals and five rebounds, while he scored four points.
