Soccer Game Preview: Prairie vs. Jefferson

Prairie has gone a perfect 5-0 against Jefferson recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Prairie will be playing in front of their home fans against Jefferson at 7:00 p.m. Prairie has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 28 goals over their last three games.

Prairie's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. Everything went their way against Washington as they made off with an 8-0 victory. Prairie's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three contests.

Meanwhile, Jefferson didn't have quite enough to beat Iowa City on Friday and fell 2-1. Jefferson have struggled against Iowa City recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

Prairie has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 37 goals over those seven matchups. As for Jefferson, their loss dropped their record down to 6-13.
