Volleyball Recap: Zionsville Extends Winning Streak to Four

Zionsville had already won three in a row and they went ahead and made it four on Wednesday. They put the hurt on the Indianapolis Lutheran Saints with a sharp 3-0 win. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Saints, too.

Zionsville walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-19, 25-17.

Anders Christianson paced Zionsville's offense, picking up 18 kills. Christianson got some help from Mason Archer and his 23 assists. Christianson was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Zionsville's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they moved to 11-6 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Zionsville has already played their next match, a 3-2 defeat against Franklin Central on the 1st. As for Indianapolis Lutheran, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Center Grove on the 2nd.
