Basketball Recap: Broomfield Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Broomfield extended their home winning streak to four games thanks to a huge performance from Grant Schmidt. The Broomfield Eagles took down the Erie Tigers 61-42 on Friday thanks in part to Schmidt, who went 6 of 11 en route to 17 points along with seven boards and three steals. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (two).

Despite the loss, Erie still got an impressive performance from Patrick Hahn, who went 5 for 9 on his way to 13 points. Another player making a difference was Callen Gebhardt, who posted nine points.

Broomfield is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-6 record this season. As for Erie, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season.
