Softball Recap: Hilliard Davidson Comes Up Short

Thursday just wasn't the day for Hilliard Davidson's offense. They lost 13-0 to the Jonathan Alder Pioneers on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Wildcats haven't been shut out since back in April.

This is the second loss in a row for Hilliard Davidson and nudges their season record down to 8-12. As for Jonathan Alder, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Hilliard Davidson will venture away from home to challenge Thomas Worthington at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Jonathan Alder, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 13-0 victory against Independence on the 15th.
