Baseball Recap: West Bladen Comes Up Short

West Bladen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 12-2 to the Whiteville Wolfpack. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Knights of the 8-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2025.

JT Hepler was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one triple and two RBI. That triple was his first of the season.

West Bladen's loss dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Whiteville, their victory bumped their record up to 6-3.

While West Bladen had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
