Football Game Preview: Plainfield vs. Edison

On Saturday Plainfield will take on Edison at 1:00 PM. Plainfield come in off of four low-scoring performances in a row, a trend the team is obviously eager to reverse.

Plainfield have been struggling to pick up a win, with their game against Franklin last Saturday making it five winless games in a row. Plainfield have to be aching after a bruising 2-27 loss to Franklin. The state rankings had actually given Plainfield a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.

Meanwhile, Edison were able to grind out a solid victory over Kennedy Memorial, winning 17-7. The success made it back-to-back wins for Edison.

Edison's win lifted them to 5-2 while Plainfield's defeat dropped them down to 1-6. We'll find out if Edison can add another positive mark to their record or if Plainfield can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Edison's step.
