Volleyball Game Preview: Sage Creek Bobcats vs. Del Norte Nighthawks

The Sage Creek Bobcats will head out to face off against the Del Norte Nighthawks at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Sage Creek will be strutting in after a victory while Del Norte will be coming in after a defeat.

Sage Creek not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since October 29, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They blew past Rancho Buena Vista 3-0. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now won eight in a row.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-23, 26-24.

Meanwhile, Del Norte didn't have quite enough to beat Fallbrook on Thursday and fell 3-2.

Del Norte took Fallbrook into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 22-25, 19-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Del Norte has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-11-2 record this season. As for Sage Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 17-14.
