Nativity BVM had won four straight home games and Trey Keating did his part to make it five on Tuesday. In a tight matchup that could have gone either way, the Nativity BVM Green Wave made off with a 52-51 win over Weatherly with plenty of help from Keating, who dropped a double-double with 20 points and 11 boards. He has become a key player for Nativity BVM: the team is 7-1 when he posts at least ten rebounds, but 8-9 otherwise.

The team also got some help courtesy of Sam Walborn, who posted ten points and five steals. That's the most steals he has posted since back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Weatherly still got an impressive performance from Corbin Wagner, who shot 43% from the field on his way to 18 points along with six boards and five steals. Matt Adler was another key player, putting up five points.

The victory snapped Nativity BVM's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-10 record. As for Weatherly, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-12.

Nativity BVM didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 69-43 win against Ferndale on the 1st. Weatherly does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
