Jefferson is 8-2 against Blake since January of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The Jefferson Dragons will look to defend their home court against the Blake Yellow Jackets at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Jefferson is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against King on Wednesday as Jefferson made off with a 64-42 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Jefferson's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Harmonie Charles led the charge by putting up 20 points. Another player making a difference was Azariah Johnson, who posted 14 points.

Meanwhile, Blake strolled past Brandon with points to spare on Wednesday, taking the game 47-31. The Yellow Jackets pushed the score to 38-18 by the end of the third, a deficit the Eagles cut but never quite recovered from.

Jefferson better keep an eye on Gabriell Duberry. She was instrumental in Blake's win, going 7 of 15 on her way to 17 points and six steals. That's the most points Duberry has posted since back in December of 2023.

The win got Jefferson back to even at 5-5. As for Blake, the victory also got them back to even at 5-5.
