Soccer Game Preview: University vs. Granite Hills

The University Trojans will challenge the Granite Hills Cougars at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a six-game winning streak alive.

University is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand Pacifica a 1-0 shutout. University wouldn't have won without Bradley Son, who scored the game-winner.

Meanwhile, Granite Hills' game on Saturday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They blew past Indian Springs 3-0. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Granite Hills' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Indian Springs are ranked 295th).

University's win bumped their record up to 14-5-1. As for Granite Hills, their victory bumped their record up to 16-4-5.
