Volleyball Recap: Thunderridge Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Win

ThunderRidge hadn't done well against Legend recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Grizzlies walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Titans. This was payback for the Grizzlies, who suffered a 3-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

ThunderRidge had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 25-16, 25-13, 25-10.

Cameron Mueller paced ThunderRidge's offense, picking up 14 kills. Mueller got some help from Aidan Edinger and his 33 assists. Edinger was also solid from the service line: he led the team with three aces.

Despite the loss, Legend still got an impressive performance from Guy Gibbs, who had 20 digs and one assist. Gibbs has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last ten times he's played.

The win was the fourth in a row for ThunderRidge, bringing their record up to 10-11. As for Legend, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-11.
