Volleyball Recap: Choctaw County Comes Up Short

Choctaw County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Meridian Wildcats, falling 3-0. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 25-14.

Choctaw County's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Meridian, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-12.

Looking ahead, Choctaw County will welcome Marengo at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Meridian, they will head out to square off against Quitman at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
