Football Recap: St. Mary Comes Up Short

St. Mary was the 28-21 winner over New Milford when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Gaels had to suffer through a 35-7 loss at the hands of the Knights. The contest marked the Gaels' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for St. Mary and nudges their season record down to 3-5. As for New Milford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

St. Mary will challenge Garfield at 1:00 p.m. on the 25th. As for New Milford, they will take on Waldwick/Midland Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 24th.
