Baseball Recap: West Harrison Comes Up Short

West Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 12th straight loss. They took a 7-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Long Beach Bearcats. The Hurricanes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bearcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

West Harrison saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reece Parker, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. The Hurricanes are 4-2 when Parker posts two or more runs, but 4-13 otherwise.

West Harrison's loss dropped their record down to 8-15. As for Long Beach, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10.

While West Harrison had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
