Football Recap: Hayfork's Rushing Dominance Continues + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Hayfork rose to the challenge on Friday. They took their contest with ease, bagging a 68-0 win over the Tulelake Honkers. The Timberjacks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten games by 38 points or more this season.

Levi Cavalli had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 178 yards and five scores on only eight carries, while also throwing for 35 yards and one TD. His rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 22nd straight game with at least 100 rushing yards dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was Tatem Wiley, who gained 146 total yards and a touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Hayfork was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 340 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 199 rushing yards in 20 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Hayfork didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Cavalli and Mukeng Yang. Cavalli got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Hayfork's victory bumped their record up to 11-0. As for Tulelake, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

As of now, neither Hayfork nor the Honkers have any future games scheduled.
