Bingham is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fremont , sneaking past 3-2. The win was some much needed relief for the Miners as it spelled an end to their eight-game losing streak.
Meanwhile, Lone Peak put another one in the bag last Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past Westlake 9-1. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by three goals or more this season.
Their offense was hitting Westlake from everywhere, as seven different players booted in a goal.
Sam Sellers led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.
Bingham's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-13. As for Lone Peak, their win bumped their record up to 16-0.
Bingham might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Lone Peak when the teams last played back in August of 2022. Can Bingham avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
