Basketball Recap: Apostolic Christian's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Apostolic Christian came tearing into Tuesday's contest with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Tennessee Christian Prep Hawks 57-35. Apostolic Christian has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Apostolic Christian found their leader in sophomore Madon Bailey, who went 10 for 13 en route to 21 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Bailey has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Blake Wilson, who went 6 of 8 on his way to 14 points and five boards.

Apostolic Christian is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.1 points per game. As for Tennessee Christian Prep, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Apostolic Christian will be playing in front of their home fans against Mount Pisgah Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Tennessee Christian Prep, they will head out to challenge Temple Baptist Academy at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Temple Baptist Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season.
