Volleyball Game Preview: Clarkstown North Rams vs. Ursuline Koalas

The Clarkstown North Rams will head out to challenge the Ursuline Koalas at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Thursday, Clarkstown North didn't have quite enough to beat Harrison and fell 3-2. While the Rams didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Huskies 25-20 in the first set.

Clarkstown North took Harrison into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking five-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-20, 25-9, 22-25, 15-10.

Meanwhile, Ursuline came tearing into Monday's match with three straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Huskies.

Ursuline had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 22-25, 25-18, 28-26, 25-20.

Clarkstown North's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Ursuline, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4-1.

Clarkstown North came up short against Ursuline when the teams last played two weeks ago, falling 3-1. Can the Rams avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
