Shepard scored the most goals they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They came up short against the Evergreen Park Mustangs, falling 7-4. If Shepard were looking for revenge after losing 1-0 to Evergreen Park when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

This is the second loss in a row for Shepard and nudges their season record down to 2-9-1. As for Evergreen Park, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.

Looking ahead, Shepard will take on Lemont at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Evergreen Park, they will square off against Richards at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evergreen Park will be up against Richards' rather soft defense (which has allowed four goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
