While Purcell put up some runs on Friday, the same can't be said for Wynnewood. The Purcell Dragons put the hurt on the Wynnewood Savages with a sharp 8-0 victory. Considering the Dragons have won three matches by more than seven runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win made it two in a row for Purcell and bumps their season record up to 3-5. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8 runs. As for Wynnewood, their defeat ended a nine-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 3-3.

Purcell wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-0 victory against Wynnewood on the 15th. As for Wynnewood, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Lexington on the 15th.
