White Plains took care of business in their home opener (barely) on Friday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Eastchester Eagles 3-2. White Plains' winning goal came courtesy of Mustafa Ghafoor.

Eastchester's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, White Plains is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will challenge Spring Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Eastchester, they will challenge Edgemont at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
