Softball Recap: Make It 11 in a Row for Queen Creek

Queen Creek had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.6 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Williams Field Black Hawks with a sharp 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won 15 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Annalise Jensen looked comfortable as she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up more than one walk in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Emma Reynolds was incredible, going 3-for-4 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. Arhianna Muniz was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs.

Queen Creek's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Williams Field, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-14-1 record this season.
