Football Game Preview: Duncan Wildkats vs. San Manuel Miners + How To Watch

The Duncan Wildkats will head out to square off against the San Manuel Miners at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Duncan has given up an average of 38.7 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Duncan is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Arizona's top teams: Ray, who was ranked ninth at the time (Duncan was ranked 19th). The Wildkats came up short against the Bearcats on Friday, falling 40-14. The Wildkats have struggled against the Bearcats recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Even if they lost, Duncan's defensive line still kept up the pressure with three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: KY COATS, TAYGAN JENSEN, and CONNER FREE, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Ray's side was COATS, who picked up a sack and made 15 total tackles (2.0 for loss).

Meanwhile, San Manuel lost 40-18 to Superior on Friday.

San Manuel's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Duncan, they now have a losing record of 3-4.

Duncan didn't have too much breathing room in their matchup against San Manuel in their previous matchup back in September of 2024, but they still walked away with a 22-16 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildkats since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
