Softball Recap: Sheldon Comes Up Short

Sheldon was the 9-0 winner over Crater when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Irish fell 7-4 to the Comets on Friday. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Presley Debaldo was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Sheldon's loss dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Crater, they pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Looking ahead, Sheldon will venture away from home to take on South Eugene at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crater, they will challenge Churchill at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
