Norfolk Catholic strolled into their game on Thursday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] Bobcats. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Norfolk Catholic easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-19.

Ava Wemhoff paced Norfolk Catholic's offense, picking up nine kills. Wemhoff got some help from Sidonia Wattier and her 15 assists. Wattier also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kinsey Chandler, racking up two apiece.

Norfolk Catholic's win bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard], their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Coincidentally, Norfolk Catholic and Summerland [Clearwater/Ewing/Orchard] will both be playing Battle Creek the next time they take the court. The Knights will head out to face the Braves at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Bobcats will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
