Baseball Recap: Lincoln's Luck Changes for the Better on Thursday

There's no place like home for Lincoln, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by an 8-1 margin over the Mar Vista Mariners on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Hornets as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

The team relied heavily on Jesus Padilla, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. Isaiah Kellough was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one triple and two RBI.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Mar Vista, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.
